Who’s afraid of the “Olperl”? Nobody, of course!
The mischievous forest and mountain spirit is definitely the best known legendary figure in Sesto. But he is far from being the only one! Anyone who sets out on an adventure in the footsteps of the magical beings of ancient tales will return from family holidays with a rucksack full of new stories. An absolute top tip for young explorers is the hiking trail through the forests around Sesto, the story trail to Monte Elmo or route no. 19 on the Croda Rossa. Here there is lots to discover about the village of the Three Peaks Dolomites and its history.
