Ski touring and snowshoeing around the Drei Zinnen
Winter summit experiences in the Sexten Dolomites and along the Carnic ridge.
The Sexten Dolomites offer almost endless opportunities for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers. Under your feet, the steady crunch of snow; your lungs fill with crystal-clear winter air. Here, you will find nature and tranquillity – and breathtaking panoramic views.
Provided the snow conditions allow, there is nothing more rewarding than winter summit experiences and descents in powder snow. A particularly unique tour leads through Altensteintal to the Three Peaks. The demanding ascent is only fully rewarded at the very end – but all the more impressively – with a breathtaking view of the landmark of the Sexten Dolomites. If you still have energy to spare, continue on to Sextner Stein. Less well known, but equally scenic, are the winter ascents to Oberbachernspitze or Hornischeck. Discover the most beautiful ski tours and snowshoe hikes around the Three Peals here!
