Here, the vertical dominates: steel cables, ladders and iron rungs open up new routes across sheer rock. In addition to a helmet and proper safety equipment, a good dose of courage and physical fitness are required – as well as a healthy respect for nature. This also applies to the easier “ferratas” in the Sexten Dolomites. The via ferratas Rotwandspitze and Alpinisteig are an absolute must for passionate mountaineers!

“Dolomites without borders” is a unique high-altitude route in the UNESCO World Heritage with via ferratas across 9 demanding stages (108 km), spanning 2 countries, 12 via ferratas and passing 17 huts.
