Provided the snow conditions allow, there is nothing more rewarding than winter summit experiences and descents in powder snow. A particularly unique tour leads through Altensteintal to the Three Peaks. The demanding ascent is only fully rewarded at the very end – but all the more impressively – with a breathtaking view of the landmark of the Sexten Dolomites. If you still have energy to spare, continue on to Sextner Stein. Less well known, but equally scenic, are the winter ascents to Oberbachernspitze or Hornischeck.
